I'm grateful in my line of work we get quite a lot of days off.
I usually have work to do in those too, but in the comfort of my house everything seems so much better

Well yeah i suppose. XD be nice if they gave me an entire week off lol. Not just for easter but for those with covid to get better…8U

I wish my job was a work at home thing. But opening doors and answering phones can’t exactly be done at home lol. XD;;

Well, I am a high school teacher so we could argue whether I can work from home - I think no.

But I still plenty of other work to do at home, like preparing material for my classes and grading exams and doing paperwork.

Lool well didn’t they also have online learning at one point? So i guess it is sorta technically possible…xD

Ugh, that’s what i would hate to do, taking my work home with me. 8U thats why, when i get home, i ignore my ipad, even sometimes turn off the wifi and put it on airplane mode….bc i don’t want to deal with work when i’m relaxing at home.

We did have online learning... and it was a complete disaster.
Those kids who need more help simply don't log in, or they ignore you and you can't do a thing.
Even for those ones that are usually doing well it's way more complicated!
I'm sure older students fared better, but at the ages my students have they need their teachers to be phisically present.


I always bring work with me.
It's 8:30 PM, and I've just replied mails from a mother, from a student and from the teacher of a student who is in a program for some sort of homeschooling.

Yeah there’s always gonna be pros and cons to everything. 8U we can’t always win lol. XD

Yeah see i would hate that. That fact that you cant even unplug and rewind and relax when you get home, that you have to bring your work home with you…8U if its possible to teach like that, i might consider it. 8U
