I might end up doing that too, rather than bidding on Zia's auctions, just buy a set.
Sigh.
It's much less appealing than spending everything on event knuffel, though!

That is certainly odd.... are any of the event items sold for point amounts that aren't a multiple of 5?

Or perhaps you successfully hit someone of a higher rank, and the amount of points gained are an odd number?

Oh! I've never intentionally tried hitting higher ranked individuals this event.Maybe I accidentally but successfully hit one? I'm not sure, but I didn't know hitting someone higher ranked would yeild anything but a 5 or 0? That's strange. Let me test this a bit

(Also no, I've checked the booth. Everything ends with either a 0 or 5)


Edit: I tested it on you lol! So it's true! I gained 12 points!

You do get a little bonus if you splash someone of a higher rank than you. c: I'm trying so hard to get my third set of items. I just also want another Knuffle too XD

So it's 10 points for same-rank-or-under, and 12 for one-rank-over, and a mystery for the rest, unless the "example" in the announcement is strictly factual, in which case we know that it's 200 for nine-ranks-over.
From 10, to 12, to ? -> ? -> ? -> ? -> ? -> ? -> ? -> 200

That's a mysterious progression.

My guess is it's a percentage up per rank difference

Two ranks above is 14 points, three is 17, four, IIRC, is 22... after that idk
