Oh me too. I just honestly hoard hand refs on pinterest and see
which one looks best with the pose.

But starting on doing some studies so hopefully my hands will greatly improve.

I tend to browse a lot of art to get an idea on how to do hands.
I drew a hand the other day that I didn't think was too bad 8u

I still am sick, but it's clear to me now that it is allergies.
But they don't seem to be going away because the weather refuses to make up its mind >Bu

It was nice yesterday.
Kinda cloudy and the breeze was cool and enjoyable.
But then the breeze went away and it was hot.

I know the first warm day we get, my dog is getting a bath 8u
He was lying down and I kept pointing at him and saying "Bath 8u/" and he kept slapping my hand away with his paw.

I try not to look at other artists and how they do hands
because a lot of the time, some of the hand movements they choose
are normally stylized. So I stick to non-art references.
And real-life references are just better to study from.

My brain also thinks very complicated things, so less stress if i study
from just refs and not art of hands.

Well, I look at real hands and at art.
I just like to see how other people draw their hands because I tend to want to draw realistic and that's not my goal.
I don't like adding too many details because that's not my goal.
I don't think mine are stylized. They're just bad. 8u
HOWEVER, they're better than they used to be.
They used to look like forks u8

@Moodybats - That's a good idea. I have not tried looking for hand references on pinterest.

@Moi - XD Your dog is like "nah, i'm good"... about that bath.

He does this little growl/grumble and it sounds like he's talking under his breath.

I was talking to him about food and apples came up 8u

Me: Does he like...steak? 8u
Hyde: 8P -wags tail-
Me: Yeah? Does he like...pork chops? 8u
Hyde: 8P -wags tail-
Me: Yeah? Does he like...apples? 8u
Hyde: -does nothing-
Me: No, I guess not 8u

Pinterest is honestly my go to place for studies.
I even have 2 different boards for art.
One is all of my references of what I want to draw, what I want to practice, etc.
So I have subcategories like poses, clothing ideas, and landscapes to practice etc.

And my other board is just an inspiration board with inspiring photos and with 1 subcategory that is color palettes as I am no good at color theory yet.

My Pinterest is full of all kinds of crap I find interesting.
I use it to brows fashion and for art inspiration.
I also like looking at random knick-knacks and funny photos 8u

I think I found this Tumblr blog from Pinterest.

It's full of cute and funny stuff.
I have yet to understand what's offensive about it ._.

@Moi - Aww, those hands don't look that bad.

One of my cats likes to sigh and growl. She gets pretty sassy.

@MoodyBats - The only studies I've used pinterest is for clothes reference. I have a board for it. I might look into making more art reference boards.

I mainly use pinterest to find backgrounds for my phone. XD Speaking of which, I need to change my background, it has been a while.

I have also started to use it to find some recipes. I made a potato recipe I found from there and it came out pretty good.

He meows back to us when we talk.
We say he just walks around talking shit xD
My aunt was yelling at him once and he just meowed back at her.
She said she was yelling and he was talking shit back to her xD
