Hahaha, Final Fantasy eh :D

So... you'd rather never do it because you don't want to lose your dream? o.O
That's ridiculous.
Even if you'd get rejected you can always try again.
I mean, do you know the risks I took? A Dutch flight academy would never take me because I don't have my high school diploma and shit, so why would that Belgian one do it xD
It didn't only risk my dream, but also €1000,- of my own money. Trust me, art intakes don't cost that much.
And look now, I can't do it because they won't grant me a loan.
Just because I can't do it now, doesn't mean I can never do it xD

If it's your dream you should fight for it, not watching from the sidelines, doing nothing... o.O
Intakes on het Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam aren't that hard anyway, it's full of morons... >>

Hahaha his little monocle <3
Glad you like it so much!
And yeah, I had the urge to call him Colonel or something :')

Well, its not like that. I want to be sure I am ready for it. I have heard about people passing the test while being poor artists. But... due artschool mostly rejecting the manga art style.. I am quite afraid they will reject me for it. Besides... I think I might have a fear for getting rejected..

Well then, get over it, otherwise you'll get nowhere in life, right xD

They reject manga style because it doesn't contain any of your own creativity. Of course they want you to have your own style. But I've seen more than just manga from you. xD

Yeah... When I compare myself with other "manga" artists.. I notice a large difference. Most of them "copied" other characters to start with. While me.. I started by observing and trying to find my own style.

I put all my creativity and emotions in my drawings. All you see what I have drawn is all spawn from my mind. Wish it stood open more tough.

And yeah.. Final Fantasy is my major inspiration. Thanks to that game.. I started gaming and... when I got around the end of the well.. You know the first school we are supposed to go to as kids.. I already have gamed four years of my elven years of life. When I got to middle school, my path became clear.

Final Fantasy and Spyro, thats where it ALL started with me. (And Pokemon, but meh... No major inspirations from there). That also explains my love for dragons. Since Final Fantasy and Spyro BOTH contain dragons.

So you say you've got your own style... then what's keeping you. ;D
If you don't try you'll never know. If you get accepted, well congrats! You can start living your dream. If you get rejected, fuck that, try again next year or at another school and keep training in the mean time. But from what I've seen from you, I think you shouldn't worry so much. As long as you show creativity they'll take you.

IT does come in really handy with game design. As an artist you're gonna have to cooperate with the programmers - so that'd mean less clashes, if you're a programmer yourself xD

Good luck. <3

Hehe, thats also why.

But merry... I want to become an Artist and Designer. Since those two are pretty close to each other. Plus, its a way to show what I mean to the team and such. :qn:

Yeah but Artist and Design are splitted in two actually.. Which is rather sad.
