Desktop PCs are usually cheaper, and also cheaper to upgrade/update later. I prefer desktops over laptops for that reason.
Maybe even see if you find something secondhand?
After Xmas you may find bargains, people who bought the newest thing and gets rid of a perfectly fine one.

desktops are cheaper? really? xD;;
i like laptops cuz they're easier to carry around.

Like when I'm feeling sick, I get told to get in bed but I can't draw and talk to people in bed \>8u/

I have this old desk I got when I was maybe....15?
I'm 33 now and I've had the same computer desk all these years 8u
I'd like to get me a gaming PC and keep this one for doing what I do when I draw and post on here.
BUT for that, there's no room.
This PC is still good - it just doesn't run most games very good.
I don't want to get rid of it.

yeahh i've had the table in my room for yeaaaaaaaaars. and its good sturdy wood and its still good and usable. xD that and it just fits perfectly between my wardrobe and my bed. xD so it stays.

hahaha, cheap walmart desks for the win! tbh, i have no idea where my desk came from. mightve been a hand-me-down from when my grandfather/uncle used to live with us.
