Well, the issue is it gets cold in her room. So we had her room open so the heat from the heater went in.
We only have the one heater so that's the only way to heat up the house :\

Our townhouse is old but it does have heating (altho no ac because old lol). I have a portable heater in my room because using the heaters use up sooo much electricity so we only use the heaters to warm up the larger rooms. It can still get a bit chilly though. My mom wants another portable heater in the kitchen because when not cooking, it can get pretty cold because that’s where the door to the yard is.

I'm so lucky I live in nice warm weather town.
The other day some of my students were saying it might snow.
And I was like "what are you saying? it's plain impossible, we are hardly ever under 10ºC!" ¬¬
Apparently it snowed once, twenty years ago or so, and people still talk about it...
I lived in a snowy town and I certainly don't miss it.
So freezing cold.
Brrrrrr.
Now we have only three heaters in the flat (our bedroom, son's bedroom and sitting room) and I program them for 3 hours in the morning, so the house is warm in the afternoon.
I may turn it on at night too as the winter grows colder, but that will be just for a week or two.

I got it
Winter temperatures go from 5ºC to 15ºC, which is cold but not very cold.
Summer temperatures go from 15ºC to 30ºC, which is warm and nice.
This is a wonderful weather tbh.

Our house is old and we don't have any central heat and air.
We have a window AC and three gas stoves.
I had to spray Dooty-do with the water bottle :\
Didn't want to have to do that but he made me >Bu''

Yeah, I know.
I've travelled my fair bit, lived in quite different areas. While my country has a nice weather in general, being this mild is not the usual.
One of the reasons why we wanted to live here!
The city I grew in is not far from here (120km) and the climate is not mild at all.
The summer there is very hot (reaching 40º and above plenty of days) and the winter is way colder than here, but still not often below zero.
Other places are not so hot in summer but very cold in winter, like the town in which my son was born - snowing from November to April, even May.
Most of them are either hot in summer or cold in winter, you gotta choose xD
Well, unless you live in Extremadura, of course. The name carries the word "extreme" for a reason!

gas stoves sound dangerous. 8U actually anything gas related sounds dangerous.
i've only lived in one city my entire life, in the same housing complex. XD

Well, it's either gas stoves or freeze so 8u
Where I live, it's not out of the ordinary for it to be 100º F (37º) most of the year.
When winter comes, we have what we consider freezing, but people up north tell me that's not cold.
Well it is to us >Bu
