I remember a blood donation which was quite special.

Whenever possible, I donate by a method called apheresis. I don't know if you've tried it, but it allows you to donate only specific stuff from your blood (I usually donate platelets and plasma).
They connect you to a machine which removes a bit of blood, filters what you are donating out, adds a liquid solution if required and returns it to your blood. Then repeats and repeats and repeats.
It's a long process but it allows donor to actually donate more.

Well, technical explanation over xD
So this one time there was a politician visiting and they wanted to show him the machine, and they asked me (cause I was quite a veteran and they knew I did not feel uncomfortable by these things) if they could dissemble the machine aesthetical parts so we could see all the filtering while it was happening.
I agreed, with the only requeriment that I wanted to be able to see too! :mclaugh:

A while later, some technicians from the lab (which was downstairs) came and told me "Oh, so you don't really care? Cause we wanted to see it operating if you don't mind, in all these years working here we've never seen it!"
And there we go again xD

It was quite a weird situation.

Yeah, I never was so entertained as that one xD
Had several visits, just to look into that thing with my blood swirling in and separating into different stuff.
The first time was kinda amusing tbh, then I was just surprised.

But the point is:
1) I don't mind blood.
2) I like telling long stories for no purpose xD

Yeah, the nurse was like "Whoops you sprung a leak 8D" and I was so freaked out because the needle was in my hand uB
And it hurt uB
Never put it in my hand again >Bu

I'm an organ donor and I always wanted to donate blood but I don't know if I can.
I am Anemic and I've also been told that because I take medications - I can't donate blood.
I don't even know what my blood type is Bu

But don't I need to know what it is to donate it?
Like if they ask me what it is, I won't know ._.
I just wanna know my blood type and literally no medical place knows Bu

I'm sure she's seen way worse xD
I've seen way worse ._.
I have this long scar on my leg that I got when I ran past a chair with a tack sticking out of it.
Ripped my leg open as I ran past it.
Bled for a couple hours but I didn't seek medical attention.
My dad looked at the scar and said I should have probably sought medical attention 8u

no? they'll just take your blood and probably just put your blood along with the same type of blood. after all, all types are blood are useful, it doesn't matter what type you have.

wowww that sounds serious lol.

Yeah, I guess so. The question now is can I donate blood...I've always been told no because I'm on medication xD

I'm so clumsy that I get hurt 50 times a day so I usually don't pay much attention.
Even if it hurts or is bleeding - it's just yet another injury so I don't take it seriously.
Like I stubbed my toe some years ago and I was like "Ow! Well, time to move on 8u" so I went about what I was doing and then I just happened to look down and my toe was gushing blood ._.

I've also stepped on nails and all kinds of stuff so that doesn't bother me much either.
I stepped on a roofing nail while barefoot and just pulled it out and tossed it kept going.
Some years ago, I stepped on something in the garage and I just pulled it out and tossed it.
I noticed I was bleeding a lot from it too so I went to get a Tetanus shot.
I don't know what it even was because it was dark and I just pulled it out and threw it xD

wow, guess your pain threshold is pretty high if you can just brush off all your accidents like that......8U
