Cakes! Yummy.
But right now I've just taken my medication and I have to wait half an hour before I can have breakfast.
Bummer.

loooooool kids can be like that sometimes. a few months ago, a new family moved into the townhouse unit above us. they have one kid.......ONE KID. who also happens to NOT sleep and is still running and banging around at like 1-2am in the morning. my parents and i are like saying "can they not control their kid, like doesn't their kid SLEEP, how are we supposed to sleep if you're still banging around in the middle of the night??"
like i don't mean to think disparaging thoughts about my neighbors when i don't know much about them but i'm seriously starting to think that maybe their kid has like ADHD, that thing that makes them always hyperactive and stuff. like even management has taken note of noise levels for people living under the upper units, saying that the upper units should at least put some rugs or carpets to soften/muffle footsteps.

Probably not ADHD.
It's just that nowadays many parents have work schedules which force them to get home late. Which means that dinner is served late, the kids have bath late and so on.
And when they are too tired they always get hyper.
It's some sort of reverse wire: You are not sleeping? Then you need extra energy!
That extra energy eventually runs out, and then they collapse.
Next morning they must wake up early, but they are tired because they did not slept enough. Which means at night they'll be super tired - and indeed, they'll get hyper again.
It's one hell of a vicious circle.

Well I've seen the mother and she's always around so she's obviously not working and is just a housewife. And the kid bangs around in the morning and afternoon as well. xD;; So I dunno. Anyways, my neighbors seem pretty........careless.
Over the summer, when we had our ACs out, they also had their own tube out AC unit installed. But, they were really careless and didn't even set it up properly. One day, we found a METAL part of their AC unit in our garden. My mom gardens so if she had been in the garden when that part had fallen, and it had hit her head......I can't even imagine how that would've went. And if THAT wasn't enough, a few weeks later, the ENTIRE SCREEN WINDOW of their window fell into our yard. And THEN, when my mom discovered this, the neighbor was all laughing sheepishly like "Hahahah, that's mine!" My mom was sooooooo mad, like how can you LAUGH about heavy objects falling from your unit and just LAUGH it off, like what if it had HIT her. And then my mom was like politely "Oh, you should come down and get it then!"
It's literally been MONTHS and they still haven't come down to pick up their items. MONTHS. Because apparently they don't care enough to pick up their items and expect US to come up to give their items back. Because its OUR fault and not THEIRS that they didn't secure their heavy falling objects. I dunno, for me this makes for a pretty bad first impression so forgive me for not being nice about it and thinking disparaging thoughts lol.

Well, if they are that careless with potentially dangerous things, imagine how careless they can be with their children sleeping schedules.
A tired child is a hurricane.

Yeahhhhhhh.........hence the reason my impression on my new neighbors isn't all that great lol.
At least the previous neighbors, the only thing bad had been the occasional running, maybe from grandkids, and of course "Mr. Karaoke King" lol.
