Kingdom of Knuffel

Nothing special, went for a walk, ended up (finally) buying a new winter coat (it feels like summer outside but I needed it so I figured I might as well buy it now so I'm ready when winter actually comes).

I have a lot of cleaning that I should be doing, but I am having a lazy day. I have done quite a few dishes though. Other than that, I have been watching tv.

I got back from the trip with my grandmother and mother and helped my grandmother unpack and then unpacked myself and then worked for a bit on some bookkeeping for my sister and then took a break from that to come here.
I still need to eat and then go back to the bookkeeping, but it has been a long day!
Oh, and I have to order that replacement part for the wheelchair. Hm. This is a good thread, it reminds me to appreciate what I've already done, and helps me to organize my thoughts about what is still left.

I spent all day wrestling with my desktop computer, in conjuction with all the wrestling I did with it last night, to try and make it remember that yes, it really does have iTunes and Audible authorization and to pretty please let me download and play my books.

In the end I had to do two years worth of Windows 7 updates because I turned updates off entirely when it kept trying to force me to upgrade to 10. Then I had to update my version iTunes. But in the end everything finally worked again.

I have now acquired a bunch of donuts to add to my list. ;)

(I need 14 more, though, for the next goal. So not enough to stop.)

Slept, fed a stray cat, stared into space... the usual.

I cleaned up the mess of a backed-up toilet, helped a friend finish filing her taxes (late, but better late than later...), and banged my head against the mystery of spreadsheets (also to help with a late taxes situation).

Well, and plus did a stint at one of my part-time jobs, picked a couple bushels of grapes and a basket of figs, set the figs to drying (haven't touched the grapes yet), did a couple loads of laundry, went on a walk with my mom, talked my dad into seeing a doctor for his neck pain, and spent some time trying to figure out the timing for a visit to my sister. But that's just your normal life stuff and I'm behind on a lot of that so I'm not sure if it counts. The things I'm proud of were in that first list.

I was going to see an exhibition with my mum on the other side of town but it turns out they're closed on a Tuesday No matter though, we went to a nice shopping centre instead and had a drink at a little cafe
