If you are able to turn them into black outlines, you may call them outlines. If not: sketches *lol*

I've read you should just take the color darker than your shades color. but I try to match as much as I can. if I can make the outlines unnoticeable - the better

means I have to work at her during my referate. otherwise I won't finish her in time. looking at how long it took to sketch her, I don't expect to color her rapidly...
