Yeah, it's hard if you don't have other people around to help encourage this stuff! I could totally have been doing craft things on my own this year but without the company I just wasn't!
And Halloween is the *PERFECT* time for people who can't sew or carve because if it turns out all wonky and lopsided and odd you can just say it was on purpose, because :bat: HALLOWEEN! :bat:

You are free to steal any or all of these ideas, too, if you want to start doing the same thing.

We can have a chat thread and consult with each other planning our next crafting party and reporting how it went and stuff!

Oh dear heavens I have *yet* to come up with a successful option for providing refreshments/food. The time we tried potluck meant that everyone brought bags of crisps and the crumbs got into the crafting goods and it was just sad. The time I tried to make things ahead all by myself I stayed up the night before and was so tired I didn't get any crafting done. The time we all put in for takeout was okay but too expensive. Half the time I just gave up and said "eat before you come".... there must be a better way.
Maybe I should do one of the crafting events as a joint "let's all build gingerbread houses" option and then we can just eat the failures? But that only solves one....
anyhow brainstorming notions with someone else would honestly be a relief.
I imagine the parents would certainly enjoy it, yes! And I'm really not crafty, nor motivated, so I doubt that I'd ever make it a permanent thing, but it could totally be a one-off thing I'd do with my family for Christmas? Certain parts, that is. We've accessorized costumes for themed Christmas parties before, after all. :D

And the crumbs! No! D:
Before covid, we'd arrange a baking weekend where we would all make cookies/desserts for the Christmas holidays, multiple batches of different kinds each, and divvy 'em up equally, so everyone would have 4-5 different types of cookies/brownies/others that would last about a month lol. You could try something like that? Don't know if it qualifies under the "crafting" umbrella though, haha!

I got to 1230. It's a pity since I was pretty close to getting another item.

Ooh, yeah. The tops are really great. The last item I got was the crimson top but I did really want the background that was the next item.

I managed to get a full bar but only a few of the early ones as extras, too bad, I was hoping to be able to help people out.

Now already we're into the next event though with the candy caravan, it was such a fast transition! So much happening so quickly, it's kind of nice to keep chatting momentum going.

Yeah, I hope that people who came for the event is still around, so hopefully they'll stay and chat for the caravan too! :qstar:

I didn't think to check while it was still going, but for Halloween items does Firn ever reuse the art with a new color pallete or does she create whole new art each year?

@Akili Li, I... I think she just creates new items, no? For every event. So we're not likely to get these particular items again, in other colors, though it would certainly be nice! I really liked the tops and backgrounds, after all.

I'm just sad because I only had the ruby background and amethyst bow left. I really wanted the background. :(

Also, I really wish Grog's visit and the Halloween event had intersected, I'd have gotten so many more donuts than I'm bound to get now! D:

ha ha ha, people would have been posting in record amounts! For sure!

But is it even possible, coding-wise for the events to overlap?
