Well, I guess it's hard to study a group if the language isn't there. Maybe if the program is popular enough, they'll start adding in classes studying the other countries, which are only available to students who know those languages, so they can read the literature on it?

It sounds more like sociology then. Maybe it's a mix of the two. I wonder why they don't do the rest of Europe. Seems weird.

I guess it depends on the lecturers. If we would have people who knew more about the European countries it would work. I mean, some phenomena we look at also apply to Europe in general, so that's fine :)

I work as a guide in a palace :) But that's just a seasonal job, to earn a bit of money on the side you know.

I actually speak 6 languages.
German, English, Russian, French, Spanish and Swedish.
At the moment I am trying to improve all of them, but I want to learn something new soon :)

I'm still sick. So what's up with everyone?

I am also a little sick since Thursday/Friday, but I am feeling better since yesterday. Have to work today and most likely tomorrow as well.

My daughter got a clothing voucher for JC Penny. So Friday night my brother is going to take us there and she gets to go buy new clothes with the voucher. This includes shoes and a coat, but she already has a winter coat. She does need shoes. This time I'm going to get her a pair that's just a little bit bigger so she can grow into them.

Sorry to hear people are sick... I hope it's the sort that clears up quickly. I've been drinking extra rose hip tea lately since you guys were mentioning being sick a couple weeks ago, and so far so good *crosses fingers, presses thumbs, knocks on wood*

I am feeling better since Tuesday, so that's okay :) I am just afraid my voice won't do it eventually (and I need it for my job). So let's hope it'll work out :)
