Your familiar has to be one of those talking animal familiars that accompany Magical Girls on their adventures.
Not sure if those are ever a real species or not...
I think yours is probably vaguely cat-shaped, but maybe has a tufted tail and tufted ends to its long ears, and super long, elegant whiskers!

Why have a white dragon when you can *slaps the after mentioned dragon* this rainbow dragon as your familiar. Comes jammed pack with every colour of the rainbow.
