Cocoa is cute. She...stopped coming over and the neighbors keep her mostly so she snubs us now xD
Not only did she look cute, but she was a silly cat.
Very playful and goofy u8
Her and her sister Pepper have this way of looking at me.
I tell them "Don't look at me like that I'll whoop your ass >8u"
It's always a good time for hot chocolate \8u/
It's been so hot here but I keep drinking it xD;

It's a bit warmer here, so it's already nice for a cup of hot chocolate.
Today I drank some while I was making pancakes for tomorrow's breakfast.
Since I was in the kitchen, why not take something tasty ^.^

Hot chocolate is great.
I've noticed when I make some, my cat Sabre always sits by me and stares.
Me: -making hot chocolate- 8u
Sabre: Meow?
Me: No, you're not getting any of my hot chocolate >8u
Sabre: Mrow?
Me: No >8u
Sabre: Mow?
Me: NO >8u

Back again, we just had too many parties this weekend. Fridayevening one for my son, he invited 3 of his classmates, but I kinda underestimated the total energy of 4 10-year-olds..
Buuut, we survived.
Tiny festival in town on Saturday and a friend turned 50 yesterday. Now planning a bit for friday, a girls' day out. :) Looking forward to it.
It's getting colder here, so more & more weather for hot chocolate, haven't made it since last winter.

That's interesting because my dad's hometown had a founder's day festival this this past weekend u8888
I went with him once. It was okay. A lot of people which I don't like xD;
I used to want hot chocolate but since it was hot outside, I just said nah.

@Jolien: You're keeping yourself really busy!
Right now my life is quite hectic, no time for much.
Well, next Friday is my husband's birthday. I can't even cook something special for him - I'll be thawing some leftovers from last week
But we'll try to make some smallish celebration with his parents. Just having lunch together.

Sabre is an smart one indeed!

Our cat Dooty-do always hops up on the counter to sniff my hot chocolate.
He's really interested in the machine because it makes noises.
He knows he's not supposed to be up there either.
I walked inside and he saw me and jumped down immediately and ran off.
He knew he was in trouble >8u
Sabre is a very smart cat besides the hot chocolate.
He seems to understand me when I talk to him u8
I can tell him "Get on the porch!" or "Come in the house!" and he just does it.
None of the cats listen that good.
He also always meows back to me when I talk to him.
My mom was watching this show about shapeshifters and Sabre was sitting on my lap so I said "Sabre, are you a shapeshifter 8u" and he stared at me for a few seconds then headbutted me in the boob >Bu

I usually only make a cake, not always special recipies. And when all fails, I've made 10-minute cupcakes, without fancy decoration, but with lemon rind for taste. ;-D Just pile them up and add whipped cream (from a can).
Friday's not an easy day for birthdays, we've pushed over birthdays to the weekends before. Lunch sounds nice though. <3
Cats are weird. :) I always love their characters. :)

Cat are crazy wickled balls of fur. I love cats
Friday is a bit complicated this year because we can't pick up our son at school, so he's having lunch with my parents-in-law.
It would be a sad celebration without him.
So, yeah, posponing it to the weekend will do.
Probably no fancy desert either, but I'm sure we will survive xD

Yeah, these cats make our lives happy.
Even my mom adores them and she used to not care for cats.
I don't even know what day my birthday falls on this year...
...........My birthday is on a Friday .___.
My dad's birthday is in 4 days.
I wish I could get him something really nice, but I can't spend any money right now.
He always says "You don't need to get me anything 8U"
