i also have trouble remembering faces too lol i just pretend i know until they bring up a specific memory i had with them. only works 70% of the time though, because they catch on that i don't remember them

I've been out with my dad and he'll run into someone and they'll talk and the person will leave and I'll ask him "Who was that?" and he'll say "I have no idea..."
But my dad was a drug addict in the past so I'm sure it's people he knew from then ._.
I remember a family member coming to pick me up from the airport and she brought her son and he walked up and started talking to me and I had no idea who he was.
I guess my look of confusion caught the attention of a security person because they walked over to talk to him xD
