She is a super gorgeous kitty.
They are all from different days. lol. But I like the thought.

I'm not allergic to cats, but my husband is. He takes medicine for it. It doesn't bother him too much. He got used to her.

Huzzah for medication!

She really does look very regal. How did you come to have her?

I adopted her!
I had been looking for Russian Blues because they are hypoallergenic. I saw her and fell in love so we adopted her. Turns out she is not a Russian Blue, but a Nebelung. But we love her anyway.

I've never heard of Nebelung. Is it related at all to the Wagnerian ring cycle Nibelung?

Actually, it might be. I looked it up again and it said something about a germanic saga: Nibelungenlied.

It's an interesting read.

Oh wow, what a gorgeous kitty!
And the description of the characteristics of the breed on the Wikipedia page sound really nice as well. Is she like that or is that more of a "that's typical, but most cats are actually quite different"? I always wonder that with the breed descriptions, how much does it say about an individual?

The Nibelungenlied is what Wagners Ring is based on, so indeed the name comes partly from that :) that's pretty neat.

She is like that a bit. She's a little more social than it lets on, but not a ton.

Sounds like she's a cutie :)

Man, I want a cat, too! Hopefully once we finish uni and find jobs so that we know we'll stay in the same place for a while...

There's a couple pictures of her on the last page.

Cats are great. I do suggest you wait til you find somewhere to chill for a while.

Maybe you're more sensitive when the UVs are higher? I know some days the atmosphere or whatever doesn't work as good so the rays are stronger. I don't know the actual science behind it, I just barely have an understanding of it. lol.

Oh neat. That's cool. Is it the same as anthropology or a little different? I googled it and they sound very similar. Do you get to use your degree? If so, in what
-is curious-
I got As in all my psychology classes but the damned math classes completely tripped me up. Can't be a psychiatrist without some math. You'd end up killing your patients.

Your cat is super cute btw!!!

I only hear about America in the news or from visitors at work and I agree. I don't like it that much. Well, maybe that's too hard as I've never been there, but still..

Maybe that has to do with the atmosphere! I did not think about it yet, but I am super happy I don't get it often :) I think the last time it happened was at school when I was 17, so 6 years ago. :3

That is the sad part about it for us, you need maths and statistics in order to be a psychologist/psychiatrist... :/ But I am happy with what I am doing now :P

Anthropology is a little different I guess, but not too much. I think it focuses a little more on thoughts and human behavior than European Ethnology. We kind of want to find out how society works and why the people behave like they do and how that changes during the course of time.
I was just a little sad when we realized that we (at my university) just deal with the German speaking countries and not the whole of Europe :(
