I too only got 5 hours of sleep, but I dug my own grave there by playing phone games...

Yes, I woke up surprisingly refreshed, and the dreams were very entertaining.
I don't know WHY I should possess the body of a fluffy pink ostrich to compete in a gymnastic drumming band contest, but the MC was amazing and I now want to be best friends with them.
(I have no clue what pronouns to use for a disembodied swirl of gradually shifting lights, even if it was my own dream. But they were amazing! How could anyone have that much patience for such ridiculously bathetic back-stage shenanigans? That's not the role of a master of ceremonies, it was more like a circus ringmaster... wait I guess that is the same thing...)

Being a fluffy pink ostrich who can do gymnastic drumming sounds like the ultimate life goal.

Ha ha ha ha ha, oh I don't have that much self-confidence even in my dream! I was messing up the rhythm all over the place (I was a backup drummer-dancer, naturally, not one of the stars) but it was a lot of fun anyhow since the stakes weren't high.
I forget what it was for but my dream-self was quite sure it was some sort of benefit performance. Maybe that part wasn't fleshed out enough that I ever knew.

But yes! Our band's star ostrich had the COOLEST feather dye! It all looked completely normal like a regular all-pink fluffy ostrich, right, but then the stage lights started switching things up and you could see that there were designs that fluoresced blue and green in the coolest patterns, and when (she?? He? It? They?) flipped around with the choreography it looked hypnotic!!

And then the lights went OUT for one part -it was super dramatic, the drumming was amazing with the use of acoustics and well-timed silences- and (they?) had some glow-in-the-dark spots, too, those were mostly-white-but-faintly-pink, and at first it looked like a giant beak and eyes but then she(?) started moving and the shapes changed and I don't know how all (he?) did it but it was this really amazing sort of silent-drama-story-telling illustrated in the glowing fluff in this pitch-black background and I really really really wanted to stomp out of rhythm just in sheer excitement even if my view wasn't from the front which would have been better

huh.

I totally should have dreamed myself into the front seats of this thing and just watched.

All the dreams I remember are overly dramatic.
I hate them.
I wish I could not remember any of them.

Oh, well, I probably have cool dreams too, but I only remember the awful ones that wake me up in sweat.

Awww I feel that! I have many many recurring stress dreams that stay with me long after I wake up. But the fun nice dreams all just seem to go poof!

Awwww, that's so sad! I hope you guys get to remember some of your better/fun dreams sometime soon. I would really miss my dreams if someone suddenly gave me the superpower of not needing to sleep.

I would definitely enjoy having extra time suddenly, but I would miss the dreams.

You never know; people keep developing new talents so long as they keep living, so it's never too late, and it might happen!
I don't know how one would go about making one's subconscious cooperate to that extent, but it's bound to be possible.

I should go back to looking into how self-hypnosis works. I bet that could do the trick, if I could ever figure out the mechanisms properly.

Hypnosis from what I understand of it is mainly just persuading yourself to believe something @_@ So like, if you really believe it'll work it'll work, if you are skeptical then it won't work. It's kinda trippy XD
