Maybe that would be cool?
Drawing and coloring with pencils/watercolors? It could be a step towards eventually painting.

Haha, are you seriously trying now to make Moi drift away from the digital art? Lol, jk. But I think she's already great at it. :-)
It's just that everyone's always their own worst critic. And if someone's finally sure about themselves, everyone will criticize that person for being arrogant. Lol, humans are weird creatures.
Better look at
animals
I love this website. :D

Nah, she just mentioned she would like to paint.
And painting may be a bit harder, but with her drawing skills learning different drawing techniques should be rather easy!
That would be fun and new and entertaining too imho.

I love how watercolors looks.
Yeah, that's what my dad always told me. He told me that no artist is ever truly happy with their art because they'll always see flaws.

I guess artist tend to be overly perfectionists?
But even if you see some technical flaws, you realize that everyone else thinks what you draw is beautiful, don't you?
I'm exhausted.
Yesterday I napped for two hours, but that just does not work (v_v)
Luckily I already had an appointment with a doctor for next week.

Everyone always compliments my art. They tell me that my art is really good and I do a good job.
I will sometimes show them better art than mine and they'll say "No, yours is better!" and it's NOT.
The art is way better than mine and it irks me when people tell me I'm wrong.
But I do have issues sometimes with understanding if something is better than mine or just different.
I'll see some art and say it's better but people will tell me from a technical view, our art is the same quality of good, but they're so different.
I'm sorry, I hope you can get some rest D:
I didn't go to bed until almost 6 AM because I was reading my own stories xD;
I was like "Just one more 8u" four about 3 hours.

I really don't know much about art, but I think that different things can be good because they get to people in different ways.
Like some drawing may look super-duper-flashy, and other can look plain but very cute, and other can be somber and make you feel absorbed, and...
I don't know, plenty of things work for different purposes, and they may all be great depending on their context. It's just not all technique - although good technique helps.
I remember when I was young I used to not like Picasso. He seemed just too random.
I visited his (official?) musseum when I was 17. That was eye-opening.
You see his early drawings, then his French-influenced drawings, then other many different things he did, all his experiments. And then you see again his Guernika, with new eyes, and you think "holy f*ing genius".
Resting won't do much.
I hope things settle a bit at work, stress gets my hormones thru the roof, that's what makes me feel like a rug.

With me, it's like...Say you have an artist who has made art for 40 years and then you have a 5 year old child who's only drawn a stick figure once.
If you compare the art - clearly the older artist's art is better. To say the stick figure is better makes ZERO sense because it's not.
That's me and my art.
My art is a stick figure a 5 year old drew and the other artists art is the other.
My art is nowhere near as good, but people tell me mine's better.
They're wrong. Completely wrong.
If people say "Well, I like your art more than theirs!" then I can accept that, but to tell me mine is better when it's not???
Art is always subjective. What one person hates, another may love.
But I know when mine is good and when it's bad u8
See, I don't know much about famous artists. I've never been to an art class, I've never studied art from all the great artists...I just started drawing because of anime xD
I'm self-taught. Well...I say self-taught but I just mean I've never taken art lessons or been to an art class.
Everything I know is from watching others or being given tips or experimenting myself.
I LOVE art. There's no doubt about it. Whether it's a quick chibi art or one of Vincent van Gogh's pieces or one of Leonardo da Vinci's pieces.
When I see art and I deem it a masterpiece, I hope people know that it's very very very good. It's the best compliment I could ever give someone u8
We had a cat we named Cocoa and she reminded me of a Picasso painting 8u
Have you had any hot chocolate today 8,u

I guess many of us don't have any idea of technicalities.
When we say "it's good" we mean "I like it". I understand they are not interchangeable, but we do use them as if they were.
Cocoa is very cute!
I just got up, not hot chocolate yet.
But it might happen at any time soon :D
