Every time I hear something like that I think man, people are garbage. I have to remind myself that there are also people like you, spending your valuable time helping something as small and seemingly insignificant as a mouse, so that I don't become despondent and just go on a killing-people-who-hurt-animals rampage until the cops shoot me down.
One of the stray cats I feed came today with a big tore-open wound on him, so I'm worried about him.
