My grandpa always told me mockingbirds and bluejays are mean 8u
He said they'll attack squirrels, cats, dogs...

I think it's usually that they have nests nearby and they're defending their eggs.
But sometimes these birds just seem like assholes ._.
Like a cat walking across the street, not near a tree or anything - will get attacked.
Mockingbirds are called that because they can mimic sounds.
Like other birds, car alarms, and stuff in their environment.

There IS science behind animals being jerks xD
I read a book from someone who had a few crows in his lifetime and who also watched them and he told many funny stories about those crows.
The best one was when he went on a hike with friends (and his crow and their dog) and when they rested, the crow made the dog chase him. Very carefully. Like never too far away for the dog to give up. But also not close enough for the dog to catch him. Problem was that the dog was super old and due to this chase nearly died of a heartattack. And when the dog fainted, the crow mocked him saying "Be a good boy". That was what his owner always said to him when he tried stopping him from being a jerk xD

Is it crows who have good memories 8u?
My dad lived on a farm with my uncle, aunt, grandpa and grandma when he was a kid.
He said my uncle had this dog that he described as evil.
He said that dog would just kill things.
It wouldn't kill to eat or anything - it just killed to kill.
It ended up killing my dad's dog :\

some animals are so interestingly horrifying. like that dog you mentioned and i read somewhere about gorillas/apes/??? throwing around one of the baby's corpses... for fun?

I know, right? I didn't think it was possible for an animal to be evil, but when there's an animal that just kills to kill - I wonder .__.
If an animal attacks something to keep its babies safe, it makes sense.
If an animal kills another animal for food, it makes sense.
If an animal attacks someone because they're protecting their owners, it makes sense.
But for an animal to kill things just to kill it's weird to me .__.
I try to consider that nature can be cruel and that's the way it is and I can't change it but sometimes it's just...too much xD
