It was pointed out to me today that the Merope Staff casts a glow on the background surrounding it, which I think is INSANELY COOL!
I would love to see more items with this feature in the future. Maybe a digging set where items cast a glow based on the color associated with their element? Glowing wings, glowing handheld spells/flames, glowing background mandalas, glowing halos. Or perhaps just an MT or TT set where the items glow different colors based on their color combo?
I'm not sure how difficult that is for Starkard to code, but I think it would be a hit!
I know this post is super old now. But I'm back after a long hiatus, and have miraculously stumbled upon the Lux Light handheld item. I LOVE IT!!! 
It is EXACTLY what I was going for! And I LOVE that it layers with certain handheld items to make them appear as if the item itself is glowing.
