Nah, I still work at the Red Lobster. I just get really paranoid when it comes to jobs because none of mine have lasted longer than 3 months for a long time. I sorted things out with my manager and I'm back on track. No work until Wednesday.
Oh, I figure Wren won't mind me posting this. She did the line art and I colored. (It's our OC's.)
I need practice with coloring again. (Oh and I took some liberties with the sideburns.)

Just wondering, I know you run the art contests, how do those work out for you? I'm tempted to get a piece of art for my buying thread....and I can't decide if I should bribe in a request or attempt a mini contest.

Well they only work out if the contest lasts for like 3 or more months, Then you need good prizes. I think people are more interested in
/
though. My next contest is going to be all that. Its hard to say how well there doing. It seems a lot of artists are uninterested in them now (I think that has to do with they don't want Item prizes), and I think the popularity of them has gone down a bit. But I was hoping that the DA group would fix that. Maybe I need to better announce them there. My last ones I have gotten nice arts for them. I say its too early on my current one to say though.
Personalty I say go for it. we need some contests going on there. XD I'll make better posts about it at the club. =3

Ah, I see. In ways I sort of figured, though I don't venture into the art sections of this site. I don't even head into the shops anymore because I was getting tired of the shops on all levels... But I won't get into that here. I think the other issue with purchasing art on these sites is sometimes even with / being tied into it, it isn't enough for some people to care to finish the art. I've seen too many people take off from he site leaving orders unfinished...both myself and Wren have had that happen.
I'm so wishy-washy about all of this stuff. I'm always saying to Wren what I'd like to do, or plans for what I want to do, and yet I never act on any of them. Sometimes I wonder.
