I've never done that, and the thought of doing that is daunting to me; here's what i do:
Trade >> Open trade with random user >> Scroll down the item list and click on it >> do not add! but right click on the preview image >> get image url.
It works for both equipables and for mats.It works on Safari, but it doesn't seem to be working on FireFox. Bleh. I might have to start learning Charstar's way. 
I thought I'd list another method for the future so you can choose whichever way is easiest. :3

I think in Firefox is it really easy to get the url. I thought that this doesn't work, but tried it nontheless and when you right click on the picture you can choose "show graphic-info" (or something similar) and then I get an url-list where a blank image is marked, but above that the url of the picture is written. So I just choose the url, copy it and paste it whereever I want... xD"
It's easier than to start a trade first, I think. ^^
