Kingdom of Knuffel

Been listening to a lot of metal, namely Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, and Disturbed, paired with the gorgeous music from Skáld and Heilung.

I missed Hazbin Hotel so I'm back to listening to all the songs from it.

Uh. Well I pronounce it “yao-ee”. But maybe bc I’m also Chinese, I have no problems pronounciating. In fact, I learned a few Korean words and phrases and I once greeted a Korean person and they were like “wow your pronunciation is better than my daughter’s” lol.

I don’t listen to much Korean. Not that I haven’t cuz who hasn’t heard a bit of BTS lol. But I never thought of there being anything Halloweeny about it.

Kpop likes seasonal songs so Christmas and summer releases are big. It was inevitable that they would find a spoofy/spooky season like Halloween and also put out songs and performance videos with Halloween in mind.

r-really? i guess i don't know my kpop much. maybe i should just look it up on spotify and see if they have a playlist. so i can hear what "halloween kpop" sounds like lol. XD

I definitely found a playlist last month though I didn't listen to it much. I always listen to the Christmas kpop playlist when we decorate the tree though.

ah i see. xD maybe i'll check it out.

There's a concert I'm going to on Wednesday so I'm listening mostly to the set-list from that. I'm so glad I found it, too! I didn't know a lot of these songs!

i don't like going to places with loud sounds and music. i've only been to one concert in my life........and for the life of me i can't remember what the concert was for. lol

I love going to concerts though I think I disliked how loud they were when I was younger. It might be the type, though. Most of the ones I've been to recently are on the smaller scale. Despite how raucous a kpop show can be, edm beats feel less grating than rock blasted through amps. At least to me.
