Had some feed back on last event.

I really think you should make events a month long,
Not only is it to short for all your hard work.

I think it's better for the server over all to, its good to have events that go on bit to give site bit of a buzz.

It is also enough time that even people who only log in once a week stand a chance of completeling it.

I understand now that i come back why it's hard to get hold of event items i missed, most users only got 1 set.

I do not think that is a good idea at all. Events already last very long on KOfK, usually for a whole month and already now people only really participate at the beginning, but then it gets "old" and they participate less.

It's the same with the Candy Caravan for example: At the beginning people were all eager and it helped site activity a lot. But then it got old and now you can hardly tell a difference in activity between times when the Caravan is here and not.
If events lasted for two months they would not be anything "special" anymore and I don't think it would help site activity at all.
We usually have the spring event, the summer event, the Halloween event and the Winter event. Running these for 2 months each would mean we would have events running for 8 months a year - So we would have events running more often than not! That would make "not having" an event the special occasion. I think it would just kill the whole purpose and not be anything special anymore.
I could see having more smaller events as something useful, as it would be something "new" and people participate in new things at the beginning, but dragging events on for two months - I don't see that working out in our advantage.

Also, "people who only log in once a week" are not really our target audience and I don't aim to cater to their needs as we hope to make KOfK a living active community again and users who only log in once a week are not really helping. I hope this does not come across as too harsh. Of course these people are also very welcome here. It's just that I am not building this site around their needs, but aim towards people who log in daily and are active.

As for the server - we don't have much activity, even during events, so I don't feel like they are stressed too much during events. If we had more active users that might be different, but we really don't, so I don't see an issue here.
