Hey, Miki! :D
Yeah, here there are some of those things too. But mostly around food.
There is wine served with them, of course, but the topic is this or that food type.
Like octopus, or boiled meat, or empanada, or whatever.
Moi that's, that's... unnerving?
I mean, you at least got notified you had that ad created, right? You were not completely unaware for a few hours while people saw your man-for-sale ad, I hope!

This was a charity thing, there are more of these around the country, but not everywhere? Hungary's more of a wine than a beer country, there's a Belgian beer event in Budapest that I know of, but that's kinda it. Hype-beer has become a thing the last few years.
But yeah, this was the same, local creators, mostly families who make it as a hobby, share their wine, tell stories. I like those events, where you really get to meet the creator. :) Our friend also invited us for the harvest, hope we can go. I don't like the everyday struggle of a garden, but if I can help out with the harvest, that's neat. Lol.
I do like wine, have done so for a long time, but really learnt to appreciate it when we moved here. :) I'm better now at noticing quality differences and I like trying out new sorts.

I've never been a wine person myself. I was more of a beer person - althought not much anyway.
But when I got pregnant I quit alcohol for good. I don't drink at all anymore.
I just don't enjoy it, so what's the point?
I'd rather eat chocolate

I'd be excited to go to a beer festival if I could drink \8u/
Yeah, I know. I'm glad I noticed it xD
I often reread my posts to make sure I didn't type anything wrong so I saw it 8u
Even now, I'll type random stuff and it tries to say I'm selling stuff >Bu

Honestly, any festival can be nice. ;-) I do prefer the smaller one's though, I go for the chatting anyways, so no need to be among many, many people.
Random selling posts are super weird. Must be the phone? I've noticed google sticking it's nose up my business as well, asking if I want to say what I want? I always tell her to shut up and shut off. Don't play smartypants. >.>

Smartyphones playing smartypants xD
It's very weird indeed.
I mean, I'm sure they monitor everything we write, but creating ads? That's another whole level.

Maybe, men are just put up for sale way too often, so it was just trying to be helpful?
I've been talking with several people who claim that your phone listens to things you talk about. Like talking with someone about bulbs, after that you'll get adverts for bulbs. Like, if you search for it, on your phone or any other medium, it kinda makes sense, it's in there. But just speaking about it? I dunno...

I should try selling mine.
Just to test the market, you know.
I don't really think it listens to what we talk when we are not using it. That would be highly illegal and they'd be facing serious risks.
But I'm quite sure they index pretty much everything we write and say while using it - after all we've given them permission to do so!
And most of times we don't notice we are giving away so much information, that's why we believe we are being spyed on.

I actually think so too. And when you talk about something, how often do you just quickly google to check something?
But there's been controversy, google does respond sometimes to me, even when I tell it not to listen to me. I don't want the assistent. :>
Did you leave Dappervolk btw? :)

Exactly my thoughts.
I usually don't like assistants of any kind. They get on my way more often than they help.
Yes?
I don't know.
I mean, right now things are crazy at work, I don't have that much time - and I'd rather spend it at KofK.
But I may return. It's not that I disliked it, but well, I did not care that much about it either.
