Lol. I don't gym. I wish I could swim. Can't afford a membership to anywhere tho .

I mean, motherhood is definitely optional. You don't gotta unless you wanna.
I think you shouldn't unless you REALLY want it.

There are a ridiculous amount of insane people then. Lol.
I don't particularly like cool weather. But I do like wearing my super cute hoodie. So I'm torn between them. The fact that I like and don't like cold weather is insanity.

Ah. I think that's normal. Lots of people don't like cold weather but they like the cute clothes.

I like the clothes but I don't wear them cuz I get hot stupid easy.

True. XD

That's a bummer!

Oh! I gotta share this with you guys! I got a message from my daughter's teacher!

Teacher: I’ve been testing Joslyn on her reading for the past few school days. She did a great job! She raised her reading level from a B to an H! And she was so much fun to listen to as she talked about the book!
We expect 1st graders to be reading at a D or E level. So she is doing better than expected for this time of year! Keep reading with her. She picks up new words quickly!

And she also told me Joslyn has to do some tougher problems otherwise she get's bored.

I do not understand the levels at all. But I'm glad she's doing well in school.

Oh yah. I had that problem too. Too smart for my own good. I'd get bored really easy and then stop paying attention. I actually still do that. lol.

If she's anything like me I would suggest you pay a lot of attention to her with math, make sure she's paying attention cuz it gets complicated fast. Maybe try memorizing the multiplication tables? That would be very helpful.

I don't get it either, but I get that she's doing better.

I get bored easily, but not because I'm smart, but because I have a short attention span. XD

Me memorizing the multiplication tables? I still use my fingers to do math. XD Seriously though, I have problems remembering it.

Ohhh, nice, congrats to Joslyn, that sounds like an awesome improvement! :)

Really memorizing multiplication tables is very important, it will help her so much later if she's ever interested in basically anything STEM related. It just makes you so much quicker at calculating things in your head, even if you just want a rough estimate of something.
I don't remember when kids start learning them, but once she is supposed to memorize them, you'd do her a world of good if you practice them with her a lot. And you don't have to have them memorized yourself for that, you can always have them in front of you on a sheet ;)

Thanks. It is, because she was struggling in Kindergarten.

She already is learning some multiplications, but she's having a little problem comprehending the fact that any number times zero is zero and any number times one is that number. But she has figured out two times two is four. And she watches School House Rock, which helps and we do math together.
