While it's not super rare it's not so common that everyone has it.

I'm very sorry to hear that, it's sad. My schools supported any kid in need with good professionals that wasn't just there for paycheck, I've had a lot of respect for them. It is true that if you don't know someone directly affected from any kind of disability usually you're in the dark apart for easy sterotypes.

But it is more likely for us girls to not be diagnosed ~

Maybe it was ADHD/ADD
It's been a while since I last heard her say it

I went to a PD (Professional Development) about Autism, that's where I got the fact from. I am actually so annoyed that I cannot remember it TTWTT

Yeah a lot of people who are around people with disabilities and still don't know anything about them because they don't care.


Like I said, a lot of people have some symptoms of certain diseases or disorders, but that doesn't mean that they have them.

My school was supposed to have a special aid system for people with dyslexia, but even though all signs were there I was never tested, they just deducted points from my score for spelling things wrong (like my name on some days).
I was scoring so high on tests they just let me sink. :}

Ugh. I hate that. It's so annoying when they don't help you.

It caused a lot of trouble for me too. It is one of the reasons I got a Burn Out at 17. :}

I have no idea what that means, but it doesn't sound good. I'm sorry.
