Well we originally said Gabe was the heir so??? They'd probably want her to end up with someone fairly high ranking though so unless she was already engaged or whatever (like arranged) they might be fine with it. Then again maybe not I'm not sure.
Even though Mary would technically be the secondary authority to her husband, she's probably in charge behind the scenes so it's kind of up to how she feels about Michael in this AU.
Unless that's not the case... Lmao imagine that. Joseph actually being a royal authority. I feel like he might be one of those dudes who's protective of his daughter too so maybe it would go bad for Michael HMMM HMMM.
I haven't really given his personality much thought bc he hasn't been allowed to have one before lmao oh boy.
He's probably rly proud of Gabe tho tbh.

Oh yeah he's definitely got a pleasant personality for the most part.
I think if given the opportunity to actually parent his kids (lol) he'd be like. A good but maybe kinda strict parent. Protective definitely.
He's probably like... okay with Michael but it's lowkey like "haha touch my daughter and I'll kill ya. Good work with our army though."
And he might have been concerned about Grace... like who the hell is this kid hanging out with my son, but eventually got over it bc he probably thinks Gabe can handle himself. He's probably a big fan of Shane.
As for Joseph's relationship with Mary though lmao... I have no idea what to make of that.

That whole Angelic self-righteousness bullshit coming up. Like we were Chosen by God for this. Etc etc etc.
God, how insufferable. She wouldn't be crazy I guess, but she'd be horrible. She'd actually be involved in the community but in that...nosey....kind of way. LOL.

Lucy would be a huge part of the Catholic community, probably. I don't know. She'd, GOD, actually MOTHER? Her kids?? But in a strict way. They come from a line of ANGELS, after all.
Advising Caffy to stay away from the Mires, god. She'd be livid if she found out that she BRED with some HEATHEN rather than the Angel chosen for her.
