Pokemon Go better be released on Canada soon T.T
I'm missing out D:
I'm really glad that Pokemon Go is apparently getting kids to be more active and encouraging people to go out more~ It's also bringing up some rather funny things in the news where people get into dumbs accidents and such from playing Go while driving and what not >.>

People really need to be careful when playing GO. It's easy to get lost in the virtual world of Pokemagic but the real world is still incredibly real and filled with things like cars and ditches and alligator-filled lakes.

Finally got up to level 5. The Gym next to where I work was held by my team so I tried a battle or 2. I'm not very good at it.

It was finally released in my country yesterday :)
But I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed. The game is incredibly bad at explaining how it's supposed to work and the spawn rate of pokemon in rural areas is just illogical. I mean, it makes no sense in lore, but it also makes no sense in gameplay as far as I understand it so far. You don't catch away the pokemon so there will be less for others, right? In that case it would make sense to have more in cities, since more will be caught, but as I experienced it, there are just far more available to you in town.
We took two walks yesterday, the first towards town and we found a bunch of pokestops and quite a few pokemon once we were in the middle of town, that was actually quite nice. My battery was drained really fast though, so we had to go home before we reached level 5 and could have tested the gyms there as well.
Then we took another in the opposite direction through nature towards the next village, since we didn't really want to go in the same direction twice.
We got three eggs from the pokestops in the village, but we didn't see a single pokemon on the whole walk (and we were out for two hours, albeit the battery gave in some time before we reached home again).
Somehow it would just seem more appropriate to be able to catch pokemon outside in nature instead of just walking in circles in the middle of town. Or are there just more rare pokemon outside of towns that my level is just too low for? So far these areas feel surprisingly empty.

I just spent the last.. week or so looking for a good phone to get just to play pokemon go >w>,
Finally a place i get stuff from where i can HAVE the item as I pay it off slowly, they got a nice Android 6.0 device. I had to research and check to make sure it would work with Tracfone.
Now I just gotta wait for the phone to get here, then get the SIM card i need and then transfer my stuff from my old phone to the new one. BUT I WILL POKEGO soon.. sooooon

I've heard a lot of talk about how rural areas barely have any pokemon spawns. I think it has something to do with how much cell phone usage is in an area?
The urban areas have everything. :/

Yeah, I think it is something like that. I just think it does not make a terrible lot of sense to base it on that.
I'm looking forward to when my new semester starts and I'll be going to Zurich everyday again. Pretty sure it'll be more fun to play there!

Huh. Frankly I like playing Pokemon (the retro games) on a simulation app on my smartphone. And not in Pokemon Go. Mostly because I like going through the story and as far as I've gathered, there isn't one in Go?
My annoying colleague barely lets go of her smartphone at work and now even more so. She started catching Pokemon during work hours. What kind of work ethic is that? And she's the girl having to tell me what to do, because she's higher up. UGH. >>

Can you go higher up and report her behaviour?
