Skin as well.
You can just do so much with those two types of items.

Skins. Somehow the base skincolor just looks odd to me. :}

Uh eyes and hair maybe

Skin, Lips, eyes & Hair... after that,
I always have a ring on and usually earrings too.
Sometimes a necklace, but not always.
Most og the time a background, foreground and frame too.

I also always use a wig.
I used to love my old hair, but it looks off to me now. :}

i use a lot of body items (hair, eyes, lips, sometimes skin and mods). i don't use bg as often as i'd like to.

Backgrounds, hair, lips, eyes and such c:

Boarders. Unless the avi pourpously doesn't have background I am incapable of not using a boarder or frame, most of the times both or more if the layering permits it

Always, always...a background.
