That's my favorite piece as well.

Also, I've always admired people who went into art school, being creative so much all the time must be really hard.
I'm doing photography as a hobby and most of the time I end up with always the same style.

Photography sounds like fun. Lately I've picked up calligraphy as a creative outlet. It's very soothing to write with the brush tip.

Photography IS fun. It forces you to look around you, it's also pretty interesting because it makes me go to places I maybe wouldn't have gone without.

The girl next to me in class is doing chinese calligraphy. She's spending class training XD

It can definitely be challenging but thats why its so rewarding :3
And tbh its always giving me ideas for how i might want to teach an art class.
But art school totally isn't for anyone haha

And thank you that cigarette flag was the bane of my existence the stench was a far better deterrent than any ad campaign.

And I'm finally taking my first actual photography class this semester :D my first class is actually tomorrow whoop

Aha I can imagine. But it's actually a very good idea and pulling it through the end despite the stench gives it even more value.

To be honest, I am really bad at all the technicalities of it but I love taking pictures.

Are you aiming at becoming a teacher or something else?

Just some normal lettering? ovo Idk, I didn't look into the different types of calligraphy. I was in daiso with my friend one day and she hand wrote the names on her wedding invite. They were pretty, so she recommended me a starter brush tip. It's very relaxing to just write things and practice.

Any recommendations? I want a fountain pen though *A*

Not really, I'm not that knowledgeable. My friend uses a foutain pain though and I've always felt that the words come out easier with one.
I guess it depends on what you want to do, some people work better with brushes, some with pens, some even with feathers so I guess it's up to you.
