Yeah, I noticed it too, sometimes you randomly get some donuts outside the event, even 2 or 3. :) Quite a nice surprise.

I wonder if it has to do with post length as well, even though that doesn't really matter... I tend to post more than 2 words in general...

Huh, I never thought about the odds being adjusted to account for post length, too, but then I'm a babbler anyhow too.

NoxNoctis, you're at the limit of interactions/digging because you run through all your knuffel or because you hit the limit of the time you can spend on it? Because I can loan you more knuffel to dig with if the first one is the problem. Wouldn't help you at all if it's the second though.

I sometimes I think I earn more donuts while the Caravan is NOT in town, than I do while it is xD


Do you really think post length may make any difference? I don't know, sounds a hassle to code.
For me it's hard to say, I tend to make always the same size of posts.

I have no idea... I do know I've been on plenty of forum-based game sites that give some form of site credit or currency based on post length, so I got the impression that linking word-count to automatic rewards was easily available when you looked at the backend of forum coding, but that might be a false impression.

Considering how busy Starkad is though, if it's complicated at all then you're right, probably not!


The one I really want to figure out is if anything at all affects chances of finding a fairy.
Those are so rare, and the items are so beautiful

I think fairies are random, with a very very small chance in any forum page.
The more pages you load the more the overall chance raises.
So being active is technically enough. But still the chance is small.

I'm always terrified that I'll miss a fairy going by on one of the temporary pages.
Like the one right after you post, before it redirects you to view the thread.

Silly things to worry about.
