I thought it was necessary but it really helps to decide.
Sometimes I would't really consider getting a wild but after seeing the preview I fell in love and instantly grabbed one. Stage 1 can be tricky.

I don't know, to make it a surprise? XD I really don't know, but people are different. Some may like to keep it hidden.
I always check the previews for that exact reason And I don't buy if there are no previews.
