yea I'm always looking from a logical perspective but it gets shut in certain cases because fears are like "but you're nothing" and you go "hm that's logical" XD
I'm also paranoid about content and all the technical things so I keep watching and reading how-to v/blogs instead of actually writing. I could be giving advice on how to do anything right already! I believe I'd do that to avoid writing XD

oh I've heard an opinion that sci-fi was outdated and my first thought was "are you reading anything at all?"

Out-dated? Not only have they read no books, but also haven't seen movies lately, I guess xD
But I have to add, that Sci-Fi tends to be less interesting than years ago. Also I have seen a nice video about that topic. You should definitely check it out:
