Ruby hadn't reacted when she noticed him react to her own reaction. She didn't quite understand why he was acting so nervous all of sudden. How could she understand the logic, or actions of love, when she never had that? She never knew her mother, and her father never stuck around long enough to show her any real love or affection. She thought so anyway. Ruby glanced at Kira when she sounded a snort, and smirked lightly at her remark.

She sat back in the couch and went back to watching the movie since it was nearly over.

Kira sneaked a look back at the other two, and saw that Ruby was watching the movie as though nothing had happened, apparently having shrugged off Kayo's actions as a standalone weird occurrence.

Oh, Ruby. So clueless.

She briefly wondered whether she should put her (practically non-existent, for she'd never attempted it before) matchmaking skills to use, before turning her attention to her brother.

Kayo had been waiting for his sister to look at him, solely for the purpose of glaring daggers at her when she did. Ruby may have dismissed Kira's slip, but Kayo knew exactly what was going on in her mind. Every aspect of the look he was giving her screamed the words "Drop it or else" in clear terms. He was satisfied when Kira obliged by turning her head slowly towards the screen, as the movie ended.

As the night ended and she had gone to sleep, whether the twins were awake or not, she didn't know. Her body had shut down as exhaustion caught up with her and her mind wandered through her unconscious state. This reaper would not be having pleasant dreams tonight, not did she usually. Nightmares always found their way to her, and by morning she was tossing and turning where she slept, softly murmuring whimpers.

The twins spent some time cleaning up the place while Ruby fell asleep. At some point, Kayo covered Ruby with a blanket to keep her warm, while Kira watched on with a look of warm satisfaction. It was nice seeing this side of Kayo being extended to someone else, for a change.

However, neither twin knew what to do when Ruby suddenly began tossing and whimpering in her sleep. Kira tried to shush her best friend, telling her it was okay, but it was unclear if (and unlikely that) Ruby heard her. Kira rubbed Ruby's arm lightly, exchanging glances with Kayo, who was as much at a loss as she was.

Other than time-skiping to chaos going home, not much comes to mind unless ruby has another 'episode'))

Ruby seemed to calm down as Kira soothed her, subconsciously she knew it was her friend, and her nightmares melted away.

The next morning she woke early, it was natural for her. First she noticed the blanket as she sat up, and immediately her cheeks began to warm. Ruby had no idea if the twins were awake or not.. For now, she laid back down and thought about the movie night they had last night.

((All right then, I'll give you the option of doing either one in your post. Also, I was wondering, these guys discussed getting a soul for Chaos, do you have any idea how they're going to do that?

BTW I'm assuming Ruby fell asleep on the couch she and Kayo were sitting on, and writing my post based on that. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong ^^))

Kira smiled in satisfaction seeing Ruby calm down. The cleaning up was all done, so the twins began making plans to sleep. Seeing Ruby in her state, Kira wanted to be close by in case something else happened. So she grabbed a pillow and blanket from her room and settled down in the same single couch she'd watched the movie on.

Kayo, on the other hand, waited till his sister was asleep, and then silently made his way to the couch where Ruby was sleeping and sat down on the floor next to it. Sleep was going to be elusive to him tonight. So he decided to watch over the girls as they slept, particularly Ruby, who was having trouble sleeping peacefully.

Ruby was blissfully unaware of the twins around her, while she enjoyed her moment of peace. They didn't have school for another few hours, which meant she woke early again, but she slept better than most nights. It went from thinking over the movie night, to trying to mediate after growing bored and negative thoughts trying to seep into her comfort. She assumed the twins were asleep so she lay still, slowing her breathing and blocking our everything around her. Meditation was something she tried doing every morning before school, but she didn't always get to.

Meditating was one way she found her center.. It crashed around her when a twisted image, caused by her lunacy, flashed in her mind. Unlike before, she forced her chains to stay within her, as she curled herself into a ball. She didn't want to hurt anyone..or break anything. Ruby whimpered as the twisted, disoriented 'visions' flashed before her. None of it was real! She had to see passed it, or her friends would get hurt.

Kayo had drifted off to sleep sometime during the night and woke up with a stiff neck from sleeping in an awkward position. He let out a low groan, trying to ease his neck, and then sat up, when he saw Ruby meditating. He watched her for a while when he heard Kira stirring.

Kira yawned and stretched, and saw her brother sitting on the floor by the couch. "Kayo, didn't y-" she began, but was cut off by a snap of Kayo's fingers, followed by him gesturing at Ruby. Kira's mouth formed an 'O', understanding that she needed to be quiet for a while for Ruby's sake. Instead, she gestured to the kitchen, indicating at him to help her with breakfast.

Ruby twitched at Kira's soon interrupted voice, by Kayo snapping his fingers. She was much more aware of the things around her than she care to admit while 'trying' to meditate. The images seemed to have stopped and she slowly opened her crimson eyes slightly, and she reached for Kira- before she headed to the kitchen. She gently gripped her friend's hand, and looked at her with bleak eyes. "Don't leave.." She murmured softly, sounding more-so like a child. Her breathing unsteady. "Please.."

Even if the kitchen wasn't far, she was afraid to be alone for more than a minute. A minute was all it took for her to lose control.
