@Merrymaking: I move to the USA when I was 5. I can speak English fine but I can't read an write it well. USA people are such grammar nazi that you always feel your English skill is very bad or low. People get on your case about every little grammar error. (like an over a)This is why I hate to speaking to American sometime (this case only apply to USA since the country is 90% immigrant and most people have a 2nd language but people still pick on them for grammar issue) <_<
And English is my worst subject so I consider my English skill very low but I guess it wouldn't be too low in other country. I can comprehend English pretty efficiently but my writing skill in English is very low due to my lack of knowledge for grammar usage.
I speak Hmong which is a language from Thailand/Laos (in Asia) as my 2nd language but no one know what it is. @_@ I never tell people cuz they go huh? what the hell is that?

Well I'm only picky with native speakers too but I tend to correct foreigners. Which can end up very exhausting xD
I thought you mean gender of articles but Wiki told me naamval is case. Sooo our lovely case system. I don't know if thats something you can grasp yourself without ever looking at some grammar tables and explanations. I could try to explain but I doubt I could do it any better than a grammar book^^"
Really? Americans are that bad grammar nazisß ... Oh my. The British must be really polite to not slap them all with some dictionaries xD
And Ruby I understand you just fine, your English can't be that bad ;P
I just wonder, didn't you have grammar lessons in school?

Nope we are never taught grammar as a course. It taught a bit with English but not much. Most of it you learn on your own. English grammar is really complicated to me since their always exception to rule. How am I suppose to know all the rule + the exception? (not counting that my naive language are contradictory to some of the rule of English of to know both is quite difficult) They teach you really basic stuff like punctuation, capitalizing, etc which are nice but not that helpful.
I am glad you can understand me, most people always say they don't.
They are the worse grammar nazi and British should slap some of them ;D
I notice a lot of people here are from Europe O_O (I saw someone from France the other day) I wonder is this site common on Europe website.
I didn't know you guy love metal music. You can make a metal music knuffl ;D

Thought about making a metal Knuffel. Saw some nice guys in skirts on the festival and immediately thought I should make metal Knuffel xD That was inspiring. Is it a bad sign that I think about making Knuffel instead of listening to the music? X.x
Hmmmmmm. I always had the impression this site was full of Americans. But yeah, saw quite some Europeans too.
Most older languages are full of exceptions. Try to learn German. You will become desperate alone from the many many different plural forms we have :D
English was never that hard for me. But French was. I should have taken that more serious back then. I really regret it, now I can't speak it at all :/
(Capitalizing in English? Is there even something to learn about that? xD)

Americans are grammar nazi? O.o
Most of American people I talk to are either weak in grammar, or don't care about grammar at all. My English teacher used to say Americans are too lazy to use proper English.

@amalath: Maybe I am unlucky and always meeting them? I met some really mean one on gaia. Someone was posting a suicide thread and most of the comment was about how bad their grammar were <_<
I think it depend where you live in America and how you view the situation. I think some of it is laziness but I think the poor education of America is partly at fault. I mean I only got basic grammar lesson and no one really taught me much. Is it really my fault I didn't want to spend hours learning grammar on my own or the system fault for not bother to teach it popperly? I live in poor city area so my view is very basis on that. I think where you live in America will change how you see thing.
@cyan: yea, that sound cool. Maybe some face paint and a guitar?
I will just say some people in America are special

(this sum up a page worth of speech)
You are quite talented to know so many language. I can;t even learn Spanish and I took it for 2 year.

I wouldn't look at Gaia for good examples, people there love trolling, especially in general discussion and life issues forums and will talk shit just to annoy you
I don't know, my high school English teacher totally sucked, few people almost failed finals because of her. I still managed to learn quite a lot by self-studying. Maybe it's because I really like English and always worked hard to improve it XD My native language is very hard too, so I was ready for all those exceptions etc, we have even more of them

Yeah Polish is a horrible language to learn (sorry xD) I tried it a bit. I gave up really quick.
I can only speak German and English. Tried to learn some other languages but could never ever have a conversation in these

Learned French for 4 years. All I can say now is Je ne sais pas. Or Je ne parle pas Francais. But we had such a teacher, too. She came right from university and couldn't handle us. She sat in front of the class and almost cried because nobody paid attention to her.
I'm a bit undecisive about metal Knuffel. Thought black metal guy with corpse paint could be nice. Or just skirt wearing one with lots of tattoos. Don't want to mix up the styles too much

@amalath: I was never really into English. I like history or science better. I spend most of the time reading my science and history textbook. I like those subject better.
What book do you like? (always curious what English people like to read) lol
@cyan: Well you still got the Lokie idea if you don't do metal. I like the idea of skirt and tattoo since we don't have too many of those.
I never learn Polish but Spanish. Spanish is easy but I can't remember enough Spanish word.
BTW Have you consider a parrot knuffel? We don't have that many bird knuffel beside magpie. I want a few other bird.

Look at my to do list, it says parrot. Because yes, it bothers me that there are so few other birds, only magpies ;P
Saw some very nice and small parrots in the zoo but forgot their name. But thought I should use those for Knuffel... just need to remember their name Dx
Oh and ara. I love ara. Need ara Knuffel :D
I read Twilight in English. Cause the English books were much cheaper and I didn't want to spent so much on a book I knew I would hate xD
