it just seems weird to me cause there have been submissions of such messy sized/shaped knuffels. So i'm just a bit confused.

Yes, M-Chan's Knuffel is slightly too big, but I didn't really have a line that marked the whole image in my admin tool when I approved them, so I did not see it at first. My mistake.

Hmm. Too bad. Maybe one could work around it by including a background that would fill out the allotted space appropriately and maybe also marking the passage of time.

Then I probably still would not feel good about accepting it.
Knuffel are supposed to evolve, this means that they should gradually change into something, and not be something in one stage and suddenly something completely different in the next stage. The change should be great and significant, but happen gradually from stage 1 to 5. Everything else might be a cool idea, but is not what Knuffel are.

You could always make a plant like knuffle? And have them grow?
Also is there a size the margins have to be that go between the knuffle and the boarder? I made a custom knuffle base, and with the tail I added in a stage its quite close to the bottom...so I could move her up but it wouldnt be as centered. Or is it best if they stay centered/move the tail to a different position?

It's no big deal if parts of the Knuffel during its evolution like tails get close to the border. Just the base itself should have the margins on the sides.

Have a question that I'm not sure has been asked yet. If it has, I apologise (it's just so many pages to read through
) Anyway, with this new feature, will you consider spotlighting a wild knuffel of the week or month? Not wanting to enter such a thing, but idly wondering as it would be interesting to see which kinds would be featured. Though those would likely sell out faster.
