Akili Li is already rank 10!
And according to the snowball thrower top list (at your right!) so are Metea and chasen.
Awesome job, people, already reached to the highest rank!

I'm dead. I don't think I'll ever reach rank 10.
Hi Reht! I literally was trying to look for this site on my phone yesterday and typed in the old url and got so confused lol.

Hi! c:
And yeah, same - I had a moment of sadness when I thought that it meant that maybe kofk had been shut down, but I just googled the full name and thankfully this url popped up c:
Seems like the site that holds the kofk.de url now is all scammy though (it threw up a fake google apps page for me) - so I hope no old kofk users get caught out by it =/

*goes to check it*
Indeed, it appears as a google-looking page full of casino ads

I never have entirely understood how domain names work. I wonder if scammer type people do nothing but check if previously-in-use domain names aren't renewed on time and then snipe them to redirect people? It seems like the sort of shady practice that would happen

I know of at least a case where people actually did that and managed to convince people they were the actual city site and collect people's bank informations saying the city wanted to transfer money or something.
That and like .com and .net are two different domains that different people could be and it makes for easy scams.

I guess that could happen, Akili Li, but you can auto-renew your domain suscription so it's unlikely.
I think they just keep an eye on statistics of previously owned domains which had quite a lot of traffic, or buy domains which are similar (.com/.net as Kuuki said) to other popular ones.
That's why many big companies buy several domains, same name and all the likely extensions.

That makes sense.
So I only just now noticed that this event is Winter '22. Which means it wasn't late at all because it had to happen after the new year's change.
Unless next year's is going to be "doughnight '22" and we'll have 2 sets for '22...?

It seems it was meant to start this year indeed, but it caught all us as a suprise!
Since it's not a Doughnight calendar but a Winter event, you can really do it at any point during winter.
If we have a Doughnight '22 event it will be in December, and yes, I suppose we'd have two sets labeled with the same year.
I don't think you could mistake them anyway
