Very casual collector of rocks. It's a sizable collection. Most of them are from my backyard. :qh:

I used to be quite a hoarder.
I collected some things as a kid (those little paper calendars), then grew up into more "serious" collections (stamps, coins)and I ended up collecting other things which actually were more of a hoarding issue than a proper collection (manga in Japanese, SNES video games).

Then I started working and moving from one city to another, which meant my not-so-little collections were too bulky to carry, and I left them behind.
Now I would say I'm more of a minimalist, but in truth I'm still trying to sell quite a lo of stuff from my period as a collector!

Well, obviously I collect knuffel.
(I know most of them are hidden, but if you look at my profile and start scrolling, you will be scrolling for a long time.)

In real life, a collection of locks and keys. I have one or two of the typical western-style padlocks or combination locks, but mostly they're the older ones made of pot iron, or even a hard wood, that are half the size of my forearm and look a little like a ship's anchor. Plus a few of the fancy bronze and brass padlock versions which are shaped like animals, but not so many of those since those are mostly gifts from relatives and come infrequently.
I know, it's a strange thing to do. Whatever, I long ago accepted that normality was a false premise to begin with.

If you walked into my house you might think I collect books, but honestly I really don't, it's not a collection, it's just a working personal library. Books I haven't reread in a while really do get traded out! The older reference works you see are only there and not replaced with newer editions when they are referencing materials or concepts which don't become obsolete.... stuff like the books on modern electrical wiring really do get regularly updated with newer editions. It's not a collection!
(If I repeat it often enough will I start to believe that?)

I definitely seem to collect plushies (though not on purpose, they're just so cute and I have a lot of them?), as well as gacha characters (gotta have them all!). xD

I'm definitely a hoarder too, I can't throw anything out haha.

... after all, what if it's useful?

I used to collect cat figurines. Somewhere in storage I still have two or three small boxes of them. All different kinds of kitties: ceramic, glass, wood, acrylic, whatever.

My daughter & my husband both collect Funko Pops.

That is literally me, though. I always think this, despite knowing that's it's complete hogwash lol

Oh, that's funny. Did your husband instill it into her? And is it a shared collection???
And I have a few cat figurines myself, no idea where they came from tho, lol

I think the more appropriate question to ask me would be what don't I collect. Here's just a few though:

Rocks
Tsum Tsums
Mini Brands
Newborn Unicorns
Tiny babies
Purses
Anything...and I do mean anything classified as smol, tiny, little.

I have a bag/purse problem... I wouldn't call it a "collection" because that kinda suggests intent, but I do have a crapload. It's just that I've never been able to find the most perfect of all bags, with the perfect amount of pockets and zippers, and it's the perfect size and color and design and, and... and!

The search continues.

Mynah, what's tarot decks do you have? I have a bunch I've picked up over the years, but (again, like bags!) I haven't found the perfect one yet. I recently started looking again after giving up for a long time, so I'd like to know what you've got!
