I dyed my hair occasionally when I was younger, just for something a little different. I just added a little more red to my brown.

Now I don't color it because I'm 56 years old and only a little bit gray. I've earned every one of those things and I don't care who sees them. My sisters both started going gray long before I did and they both color their hair. Roots. Nope, don't want to deal with that. I'd rather just go with what I have.

I haven't posted in here? Huh. Thought I did
When I was younger, I had natural blonde hair
As I grew, it darkened (I called that shade dead wood brown), so I started getting it dyed back to blonde
Then I got tired of yellow and switched to red. When my hair was still blonde underneath, it was a bright red. When that dye wore out, it became more an auburn and i liked it
Can't afford it now tho

Is a different shade of brown now than before, but in certain light it goes more reddish
Enough that having it tucked in a hat so you only saw an itty bitty bit of hair still showed just enough for a maintenance member at my summer job to somehow know that I have some Irish heritage. Confused how? Yeah me too

I somehow got roped into going to the hair dresser regularly last year and I try to make my appointments every two months, but I found I quite enjoy dying my hair.

I was going auburn for a while and one day I said I wanted the red like my dogs fur and I walked out fire engine res hair. It eventually faded to the right shade.

Last time I went I got raspberry blonde hair and I think I'll stick with this for a while because I like the pink in it.

I'm a natural redhead and did some weird partial black dye thing in middle school with my mom's help. How I got her to agree I'll never understand! My aunt (a hairdresser) still complains about it to this day.

Back in May I dyed my hair with Arctic Fox Purple Rain and it looked amazing, but faded fast and got all over my clothes/sheets. Its 100% gone now. I miss it a lot but I can't afford the time and money to re-dye it every week.

If wigs weren't expensive and uncomfortable, I'd just shave my head and change my hair every day!

well, I just go with the natural look, so I found a dye that's really close to my own color and I dye my hair so that there are no visible grey locks of hair :P
