You know, I don't know either! :0 I know Kofk does have a long history though- I've seen people's 'old style knuffels', and they certainly have a different method of play to them.

ha ha, Jill demonstrates something that took me a while to realize; introduction threads are actually a fairly long-term investment.
It can be a bit before people come say 'hi' to you in one. I'm not sure if they're waiting to see if you stick around, or just forget to check that forum, or what, but....

Introduction post/threads are funny things.

People can talk about themselves as an introduction, but I never feel like you really get to know someone until you start interacting with them more, so I never know quite how to react to the threads.
Do you just say "hi" and try and tell about yourself, a bit, too?
Do you start a conversation so you can actually talk with them and get to know them?
Do you acknowledge the effort and then steer them to a chat-thread or something where more people generally talk?

It's confusing.

Yeah, I'll admit I always found into threads a liiiiittle useless before cuz like... once you say 'hi', what else is there to say? XD It's a lot easier if it breaks off into it's own conversation organically...
