Haha from what I remember the making out was pretty sparse XD certainly at least compared to non-YA books. They kept it PG and had them falling out every few chapters.
Contrast that against the authors I read... I get the feeling you wouldn't like them lol. Murakami is my favourite and he goes on about sex a lot.
