Oh my, that's not very good. Let's hope that deck wood is sealed so the pee doesn't ruin it. My mom's dog was trained very well from a pretty young age that using the bathroom in the house is bad. If there is ever a time where he can't get outside and he had to poop, he usually does it in the bathroom and acts so guilty afterwards. My mom's dog is also old and fat, a 13- almost 14 year old chihuahua/rat terrier mix that is so fat he can't reach to itch his back legs.

I also read that dogs and cats are supposed to not like citrus, but my cats never seemed to show any distaste for it.

I don't have any pets now. I used to have a few dogs when I was little, but they ran away. And then I had a cat a few years ago, before I had to give it to my aunt, since I found out I was allergic to cats. I hate it. I love all animals. I want to get pets when I'm on my own, but I don't know if I could handle my allergies. I'm picky about medicine. xp

I want a few exotic pets, like a fennec fox. Oh! And a turtle, otters, Lol just uhhh I wish I could have every animal! Hehe. Cx Okay shh. Before I start to ramble and get off topic.

I would be careful when selecting an exotic pet, some require a license to own. Fennec foxes can be litter trained but they require something to burrow/dig into since that's how they build their homes. And they usually will try to run if given the chance. They haven't been domesticated for long.

You should try looking for a Siberian cat. They are usually considered hypo-allergenic and are pretty fluffy. They produce less of the protein that tends to trigger reactions in people with cat allergies. I learned about them through the pusheen comics, the writer's boyfriend/husband was allergic to cats so they went through the process to get a Siberian kitten that wouldn't agitate his allergies.

Hehe, they are. I've looked into how to care for foxes and what kind are legal to have as a pet as well. Would love to have a pet fox but in my opinion they are still a little too wild to truly be considered domestic. Even the ones from Russia still require a large caged in area they cannot escape from, and they usually recommend you not keep them inside because they still smell bad like wild foxes.

The videos on youtube from people with pet foxes are so great to watch though. The foxes are happy and excited to see their owners and they are just the best.

I've got a dog (australian shepherd) named Hope and a cat named Dixie. I got the cat 7 years ago 'cause nobody wanted her... She was too young to be given away, I was very angry at the owner. She's beautiful, people always ask me for her breed! She's a stray cat haha
And I got my dog 3 years ago, because I LOVE dogs :qh: And last dog I had was when I lived with my parents, well she only lived 5 years.
I also had 2 budgerigars (they even had babies), 2 goldfishes, 2 guinea pigs and a black and white rabbit when I was a kid :)

We currently have 2 dogs, 7 cats (I know, we're crazy :) ), betta fish and hermit crabs. We've also had guinea pigs, which are lovely pets but hate having their nails trimmed so they are sometimes stressful pets to care for properly :).

Took me a little moment to realize what Budgerigars are, over here in the U.S. we call them parakeets. That's so cute they had babies! I've also had goldfish in the recent past, I loved them and the salt water tank we had in the living room was so awesome.

I've had my fair share of small pets: hamsters, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, geckos, fish... my sister had a few snakes and turtles. But I kind of realized over time that these kind of pets just don't show you affection like a cat or dog would. I would still love to have a fish tank since they are fun to look at and if you put a finger in they will kinda nibble on it cutely. I liked when they would follow your finger too.

When I was getting a fish tank for my room we planned on getting just one, but they had a sale going on so I got 5 instead. There was this one small koi fish swimming with all the others that had a deformed tail. It was like the spine had been bent and the tail pointed upwards. It still swam just fine and everything, and the seller said I could have it for free... but my mom saw the tail and said no way. She isn't like me and only wants pets that are "pretty" or "cute"
