It's a bit of a strange number, 1,90, but as I no matter what are going to pay with a different currency, so to me it doesn't really matter. Though if it could be able to pay over mail with coins, it could matter a bit as we always have a lot of 1 and 2 € coins laying around from trips and so, but I'm not sure if that a good idea sending money and coins even less.

If you pay $2.50 you'll be charged $2.50.

If you pay 1.90€ you'll be charged 1.90€. How much 1.90€ is in US dollars changes daily.
But usually it would be around $2.45 and $2.55 -not big deal, Firn already calculated it to be the same value.
Before you confirm payment PayPal will tell you how much you'll be charged in $, no matter wich currency you're using to pay.

Anyway that small difference is important for the KofK administrators, because a cent in many donations may become a few dollars they're losing every month!!

Well, now that you brought up this economical update, I would like to make a related suggestion.

What about a discount for multiple ?

Every time people boughts 1 you're charged 0.35€ + 3.4%.
So after 7 donations you've been charged 2.45€ + 3.4%.

If you offered 7 for the price of 6 (for example) in one single donation you would be charged 0.35€ + 3.4%. That's 2.10€ less, enough to cover the price of the you give away.

Also a bigger amount like that ($15 or 11.40€) one would be fine to be asked as a gift -because I suppose many people here does not earn their own money, and asking parents to make them a gift would be great for them.

I think I get it now, sorta.
And well I have no problem paying in another currency cause my currency is Brazilian Reais anyway, so they always have to get converted to US Dollars >_>

the moment i start working i promise i'll make a donation ^^ (i hope it's soon ... well after all i need to fing a job soon or i wont be able to go to a university =S ...)

Yeah, finally succeded in donating in euro's.
I tried to do it a couple of times already but everytime the link wouldn't work.
If it had lagged again today, I'd have don it in $ again. I'd just ad an extra for the cost.
I make my own money, so no problem there.
