I thought the merman was one of the better ones as well, so the only reason I can think of why it was sold out last is that it looked like a topless girl o.O
I normally don't see anything wrong with artistic nudity except on things representing me.

Wow, she's pretty~
Personally, I thought the merman was going to be popular. o: I was kind of surprised he wasn't. Anyway, I love blue and orange, so it was a nice combo for me. xD

I don't see any kind of nudity. She is wearing pants that show a lot of her hips. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion.

Yeah...
I've seen bathing suits that show more skin, so I don't see a problem. And I like the flowy hair, makes me think of a breezy day at the beach.

Wow, I can't wait to have anough FP to buy her! She's so pretty! o.o
I also thought first that she isn't wearing anything at the bottom, but that only seams to be so... and I don't think that Firn would draw her that way! =P
I like the merman very much... his hair, his eyes, his fishtail, the colors... I was also very surprised that people didn't like him more... o_O
But I don't think it is because he looks like a topless mermaid... =P
And I am also happy that the knuffel don't look all the same just because of their element! It's great that not every water-knuffel is blue and every air-knuffel is white or whatever! Let Firn be creative, she does a great job! ^^

Oh, wow, I wasn't expecting the next water Knuffel to look like this. XD She's got strange but interesting eyes. Nice.
The first generation knuffels are gone now... I hope business slows down enough that you won't have to make another one again for a month. XD

Serendair - The people who got the Gen 1 Merman Rulez! XD
I don't think there is a true answer to way people didn't buy the Merman as fast. It seems there were a lot of people that really Liked him. And more importantly. He is the best of the Merman Knuffel and I love him!
I hope Firn makes another merman in the feuter! *looks around* so he can have a friend. XP

Oh yay, a new Knuffel!
I think she's pretty, especially her hair. I too thought she wasn't wearing anything "below", but if she is or isn't doesn't really matter to me. ^^ Colorwise she's a surprise too. It's cool to see how new Knuffels turn out to be totally different than expected. I find that very interesting. :3
