You should have added Princess Monkenoak(sp?) to the poll. It was a good movie too. But, I don't suggest watching it if you don't do well with blood.

The cat returns is my favorite, then Spirited Away and then my neighbor Totoro.

Thanks. *sarcasm, sarcasm* Instead of only saying that, you should say something about the topic. Calling me Mud is off topic.

Speaking of off-topic. My apologies what with the eighty other posts I've made that have been on-topic. (Okay, probably not eighty, but you get the point.)

Speaking of the topic, I've so been on a Ghibli kick cause I already know my dvds so well I can watch them while doing other things and be able to tune in whenever something exciting is happening. XD And still know what's going on.

It gots a question though for people in the thread. How many people watch Ghibli movies in japanese and how many in english? The only english dub of the movies I can handle is Spirited Away, the rest I watch in Japanese. My old roommate would only watch them in english though. Was very frustrating. *lol*

Well, Spirited away is the only one I have, and it's the english-dubbed version. I'd be interesting to see it in the orignal japenese, though.

In english Chihiro is Lilo from Lilo and Stitch! And samara from the ring. Which is why I never found the ring scary. I was all "Aww, it's Lilo! :qh:"

The only Studio Ghibli release that I've missed was Pom Poko. I will one day pick it up. *sigh* I'm a huge fan of all their work and would love one day to go take one of the tours of the studio.

I rewatched this movie a couple of months ago. I'm personally fond of the soot.

I watch it in Japanese with English subs.
