It seems you're like me XD
Talks to NPC to get quest, NPC tells me how to do quest. After I'm done talking to them I turn around and blink, "How do I do quest?"

Go to the alchemist, find out what you need, get the items needed, make item, return to quest giver, and BAM quest done
Speaking of, I'm short: 23 x Air Ring, 8 x Gold Bullion, 18 x Wererat Fang.
I wonder how much is earth digging stuff, hence why I don't get it

Yeah, they're hard at first. They get easier once your digging knuffel level up and have digs
And their element count is high enough they can find stuff regularly

I have so many knuffels, and mats sitting around, enjoy!
