Iunno I guess to me being in person would make me more anxious. That and phone calls. XD;;

I put some of my crystal pieces up on shelves the other day..

one of the shelves came crashing down last night... QnQ my favorite pieces were broken..

I just wanna curl up into a ball and cry... trying to take my anger and frustration out on things in Genshin.. won what seemed to be a hopeless battle... still feel upset.

Tbh those shelves didn’t look too sturdy to carry heavy stuff. Unless it was nailed to the wall. Even then, I’ve always been a bit cautious about wall shelving that doesn’t have much support. Like book shelves and such, they’re sturdy and like sitting on the ground. Shelves that are just kinda…hanging on the wall with no support? Yeah not so much.

Its my fault.. Too much weight and I hate myself for it. So pissed off at myself.

The girls upstairs did something yesterday that caused the whole apartment to shake... i checked everything then.. no issue.. and they were doing fine for a full what.. 24-48 hours since I put them up... I keep spinning it around my head why would it wait a day or so before falling... I shouldn't had put 3 on that shelf. >A<

Woah what did they do that made the whole place shake? OAO

I have no clue.. >A< I just heard a loud slam as if something super heavy was dropped, which caused me to jump and everything shook.

Dee who use to live above me would cause this place to shake quite often with her tantrums.. and the girls up there now, have similar tantrums just not often. That or someone that stays with them on occasion has the tantrums..


I decided for safety sake to take the crystals animals down and put beanie babies up, at least until I can find a way to get the shelves to stay put better.. the velcro-y type command strips SUCK. They're suppose to be able to hold so many lbs of weight and those crystal animals do not come close to that limit and yet the strips failed to hold.


The wall is super cutesy now with the TY Beanie Boos up there.. o3o, And 3 Easter Hello Kitties.. >->

Never get the velcro-y type... -decided to try them because there's only so many holes you can put in the walls- >->

i would trust velcro or doubled sided taped versions of shelves either way. 8u unless its nailed in, i'm not putting free standing shelves on walls. xD;;

we got a herd of elephants in the unit above. XD;;

I didn't realize it was a velcro-y type when I bought it, I thought it was like the stuff that came with the hooks that is holding a crap ton of coats and hoodies x'D

the way these things were made.. it doesn't like the nails which was why I tried the command strips. Oh well. =3=


I want to try the command strips that I like.. but can't spend more.. =3= but if I could, I'd test it.. put a shelf low to the ground and put sebas on it >-> He likes bringing shelves to the ground so why not x'D

Lol shouldn’t there have been images of how the shelves looked and how they’re put up? XD I woulda checked and double checked before buying them pft.

they came preassembled and you put them up like any other shelf. And I always check the reviews on stuff before purchasing stuff. They work for many others who use them for books and dvds/video games.
