Not too far from the US/Canada border myself
A few hours of driving, but that's not a lot
Customs takes longer

Oooo sounds like…fun, i guess? Or not? I dunno, sometimes big family gatherings can be more hassle than not. XD;; they’ll be some people who will be boasting about their kids or their grandkids or whatnot, primping and preening about how their family is well off and stuff…xD;; or they’ll be saying things like “why aren’t you married yet, why haven’t you had kids yet, my son/daughter is already this and that….”
8U iunno. XD;; maybe asian families are more nosy. 8U i feel like some of my extended family is like that…xD;;

It won't be so big, there's not that many of us. Maybe 20? We haven't been all together in 11+ years but we're gathering because of a death so :/
And yeah I feel you, I am apprehensive about certain things they may bring up of course, but trying to be positive.

Oh. Its sad when the a family gathering is marred by death…D: it shouldn’t be the only reason for family members to gather.
Granted most of my extended family live in other parts of the world, so reunions are hard to arrange.

We have an annual one
That started in...1908?
With no gap years
It's basically all old people at this point that go, everyone younger either has no interest, can't afford to go, or have other things going on
